Crafted from a hybrid of aluminum and high-strength plastic, it provides a rigid backing that delivers excellent stability during precision work on gemstones, glass, metals, ceramics, and stone.

The 1/4"-20 Screwback Master Support Lap is a precision-ground, flat and parallel 6mm base plate designed to support thin laps such as Ultralaps, diamond-plated disks, felt pads, and leather pads for final buffing or polishing . It remains uncharged, allowing users to pair it with their preferred abrasives for cabbing, polishing, and shaping. Ideal for flat lap machines and cabbing systems.

Universal Compatibility

• Right-hand Thread (1/4”-20): Fits most cabbing  machines and flat lap systems. Thickness: 6mm (e.g., Crystal Master 6" & 8").
• Left-hand Thread (1/4”-20): Also compatible with common lapidary systems requiring LH rotation. Thickness: 6mm.
